We are very proud to offer pasture based chicken and eggs from genuine, “Olde English” Buff Orpingtons, Black Sex Link, Barred Rocks and Alabama “Red Rangers”.
We have chosen heritage dual purpose breeds because of their history, their temperaments, their looks and their 
production qualities. We have chosen a free range model for all our chickens, whether layers or broilers. At roughly 10 weeks of age, the chicks are moved from traditional chicken tractors to a pasture where they follow the grazing animals, cleansing the pasture and spreading manure. We have some of the happiest chickens in North Georgia and some of the tastiest, too. As for the eggs, well, we hate to brag, but….Yummm!
Similarly, we have chosen three heritage breeds of turkey that also range on the farm. Our Bourbon Red, Narrangansett and Spanish Black turkeys provide color, character and variety to our place, not to mention great taste on the Holiday table.
