It’s July, so it’s time to wind down the summer garden and begin work of the fall version. We are now planning on beets, potatoes, squash, zucchini, corn, green beans, cabbage, cauliflower, radishes, lettuce and maybe a few late season tomatoes. Most of this will be for farmers market/vegetable stand. Who wants in on some pre orders?

I would be interested in fall vegetables.

because you are way more experienced than me and I had some reasonable success this summer with my garden at Ford, can you tell me when you will be planting for the fall? As I was looking at my garden the other day, I decided I waited a tad bit too long for the summer garden and I did that last fall as well. I think my harvest was down last fall and maybe a little this summer.
Because I have a limited size for my garden I would love to look at some cauliflower and beets for pre orders. 🙂
PS: I think your tomato rat left your garden and came to mine. I have the biggest bites taken out of my otherwise lovely tomatoes. ; (

I’m on a biz trip to Savannah. I get home tonight. Sometime before the weekend is over, I will post a fall garden planting guide I got from the Georgia Dept of Agriculture.
Me me!!!
I would love to order some of all you are planting. I LOVE beets, well I love all the veggies you are planting. Do you need up front money?
